Conflict Resolution Training and Dispute Management Skills Development
Conflict can and will crop up in many different guises; be it inter departmental conflict, resistance to change, personality clashes or disagreements with suppliers. The reality is that managers will inevitably need to manage some form of conflict as part of their role and we meet many learners who are not managers, but still find themselves with a need to resolve conflict in some capacity, despite having never received any conflict resolution training.
Our bespoke conflict resolution training is designed and delivered to equip learners with the necessary skills and confidence to resolve conflict in as timely and professional a manner as possible. Whether this subject is delivered as part of a wider management training programme or a bespoke bite size session, we work with learners to understand the psychology of how and why conflict occurs. This equips them to look out for the early signs that conflict is looming, but also prepares them to deal with their own emotions as well as the emotions of others.
We will then provide them with user friendly and realistic tools to manage a variety of conflict based conversations which have been proven to be effective in conflict resolution.
Our fully trained facilitators are skilled at conducting authentic role plays to enable learners to practice resolving conflict in a safe environment and in some cases, we have hired in actors upon request from our clients. That said, we recognise that for some, role play is not a conducive method of learning so we can also design case studies and other exercises that depict conflict which is typical for your Organisation or industry.
